Rosalind Dacruz

Rosalind DaCruz is currently the Superintendent and Founder/Head of School at RISE Prep Mayoral Academy since December 2014. Prior to that, Rosalind was a Fellow at Building Excellent Schools since August 2013, where Rosalind supported entrepreneurs in creating and leading charter schools in under-served communities. Rosalind also worked as a Learning Team Leader at Teach For America from June 2010 to June 2013, providing support to corps members. Rosalind started their career as a Secondary History Teacher at Revere Public Schools from August 2010 to June 2013. Rosalind holds a Master's degree in Education from Boston University School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
