Barbara M. West

Barbara M. West is an experienced professional in the fields of sustainability, social impact, and global partnerships. Currently serving as the Head of Global Social Impact Programs & Partnerships at B.West Meets East since May 2022, Barbara focuses on initiating and managing impactful sustainability projects. Additionally, Barbara leads global partnership strategy for the RISE Travel Institute, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting responsible travel through education. Previous roles include Vice President of Global Programs at Academic Programs International, where strategic initiatives were implemented across multiple countries, and significant contributions made in partnership outreach and program development. With a background that includes leadership positions in both nonprofit and international education sectors, Barbara holds degrees from Ball State University and Justus Liebig University Giessen.
