Genevieve Mertens, SPHR

Genevieve Mertens, SPHR, has over 25 years of work experience in various HR roles. Genevieve currently serves as the Human Resources Director at RiseIT Solutions, a position they have held since October 2022. Before joining RiseIT Solutions, Genevieve worked as the Human Resources Director at Guaranteed Rate from October 2021 to October 2022. Prior to that, they were the HR Manager at Stearns Lending from April 2019 to October 2021. Genevieve also worked as the Benefits Manager at Össur from November 2017 to April 2019. Genevieve gained extensive experience in benefits management during their previous tenure at Stearns Lending, where they served as the Benefits Manager from September 2010 to November 2017. Genevieve started their career in HR as an Office Manager at Vital Urgent Care from January 2009 to April 2010. Genevieve also has experience as a Property Manager at Schmid Development Company from April 1996 to July 1997.

Genevieve Mertens, SPHR, holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resource Management from California State University, Fullerton. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's degree in Liberal Studies from Saddleback College in 1994. In February 2022, Genevieve obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI.
