Jean-Pierre Wack

Jean-Pierre Wack has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2007 as a Sustainability Consultant and Managing Director for Eight Associates. In 2013, they co-founded uHoo, a hardware start-up in the air quality sensing area. From 2014 to 2017, they worked for Insight Robotics Ltd. as Regional Director of Business Development and Director of Corporate Development in Indonesia. During this time, they worked on the critical fire situation in the forests, peatlands and plantations. In 2017, they took on a Technical Consultant role for UNICEF Indonesia, developing and testing low cost solutions to reduce exposure to toxic haze from forest fires. Since 2017, they have been employed as a Product Manager for Spatial Informatics Group, LLC, managing a software program with 8 developers, UX designer, 4 project managers, IT and Operations support. In 2022, they began a new role as Product Manager for Risilience, a deeptech analytics platform to enable companies to manage enterprise risk and to transform their businesses to meet the strategic challenges of climate change.

Jean-Pierre Wack obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of York between 2000 and 2003. Jean-Pierre then went on to earn a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Strasbourg between 2003 and 2006. Lastly, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the HKUST Business School between 2013 and 2014.
