RISK THEORY
Richard Schwartz has extensive experience in the insurance industry, specifically in the roles of SVP, Chief Compliance Officer & General Counsel. Richard has held these positions at Risk Theory and U.S Risk Insurance Group, where they oversaw legal affairs, including M&A/transactions, intellectual property, employment, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and litigation. Additionally, they served as President of Professional Claims Managers, leading a team of twenty claims professionals and managing a diverse group of insurance company clients. Prior to these roles, Schwartz worked as Corporate Counsel at Alexander & Alexander Services and as a Senior Associate at Wilson Elser.
Richard Schwartz attended the University of Maryland from 1980 to 1984, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology. Richard then pursued further education at the University of Baltimore School of Law from 1986 to 1988, earning a Doctor of Law (JD) degree with a focus on Law.
