Ben Harel

Ben Harel began their work experience as a Restaurant Manager at Japanika from July 2011 to October 2012. Ben then worked as a Paramedic at Micron Technology from January 2014 to August 2014. Following that, they worked at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev as a Researcher from October 2016 to October 2021, and also served as a Lecture, Assistant Teacher, and Course Coordinator from March 2015 to October 2021. Currently, Ben is employed as a Data Scientist at Riskified starting in October 2021.

Ben Harel completed their education with the following chronological history:

From 2003 to 2006, Ben attended Harel high school, where they did not obtain a specific degree or field of study.

In 2012, Ben enrolled at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering. Ben completed this program in 2015.

During 2014, Ben participated in a student exchange program at Concordia University, where they studied Engineering/Industrial Management.

From 2014 to 2016, Ben pursued a Master of Science degree in Statistics and Data Science at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

Finally, from 2017 to 2021, Ben completed their education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Their research focused on the development of intelligent maturity classification and decision algorithms for selective harvest.
