Kathy Kelbaugh

Kathy Kelbaugh is the current Advisor at RiskSpan. Kathy has over 20 years of experience in the mortgage and financial services industry. Prior to their current role, Kathy served as the Chief Operating Officer at Arc Home LLC from August 2016 to October 2020. In this role, they were responsible for building out the mortgage fulfillment team and implementing a new LOS for all wholesale and correspondent channels. Kathy also developed NQM credit guidelines and process flow during their time at Arc Home LLC.

Before their time at Arc Home LLC, Kathy served as the Senior Managing Director at RiskSpan from May 2014 to August 2016. In this role, they were a consultative salesperson and senior advisor for various hedge funds/non-bank originators, banks and GSEs in all aspects of residential mortgage origination, servicing and capital & secondary markets. Kathy also developed the RiskSpan Report Suite during their time at RiskSpan, which delivers benchmarking for loan quality, including static origination data as well as updated data and monthly performance data. In addition, they wrote credit policy and Seller Guides for various clients and managed Origination Process Improvement Projects.

Prior to their role at RiskSpan, Kathy served as Vice President at Moody's Investors Service from August 2007 to November 2013. In this role, they were responsible for providing analysis of residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) and collateralized mortgage obligations (CMOs). Kathy also wrote opinions on new issues and structured finance transactions, as well as researched and monitored trends in the RMBS/CMO markets.

Kathy Kelbaugh has a MBA in Finance from Drexel University and a BS in Math and Computer Science from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
