Zeren Zhang

Zeren Zhang has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their role as an MRM analyst at RiskSpan since November 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Freddie Mac as a project team member, where they were responsible for data development, merging, organizing, and cleaning millions of loan data. They also served as a teaching assistant at the University of Maryland, where they assisted students in financial management and valuation courses. Additionally, they were involved in a mutual fund investment project at the University of Maryland, where they conducted statistical modeling and chose an attractive fund based on performance. Zeren also worked as a financial analyst at capitech, participating in investment cases and assisting the due diligence process. Their earlier experience includes a role as a research assistant at Great Wall Security, where they conducted stock market research and maintained relationships with clients.

Zeren Zhang received their Master's degree in Quantitative Finance from the University of Maryland from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, where they studied from 2013 to 2017.
