Lars Nybro Munksgaard has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Lars Nybro started their career as an Auditor at Deloitte in 1988 and worked there until 1998. In 1999, they founded their own company, Mejer & Munksgaard, where they served as CEO for a year.

In 2001, Lars joined the Maersk Group as a Director, where they led a team responsible for risk assessments and recommendations to senior management. After leaving Maersk in 2005, they were recruited by Saxo Bank to establish their Internal Audit function as the Chief Audit Executive.

In 2009, Lars joined FIH Erhvervsbank A/S as the Chief Audit Executive, where they built a similar organization as they had done in Saxo Bank. Lars Nybro reported directly to the Chairman of the Board.

Finally, in 2010, Lars founded RISMA Systems, a company that develops and markets software for Governance Risk and Compliance as well as Sustainability. As the Founder and CEO, they were responsible for coordinating efforts related to strategy, risk management, internal controls, and sustainability for their customers.

Lars Nybro Munksgaard pursued their education diligently and has an impressive academic background. Lars Nybro completed their high school education at Odsherreds Gymnasium between 1984 and 1987, focusing on mathematics and physics. Following that, Lars enrolled at Copenhagen Business School, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics (HD-R) from 1988 to 1991. Undeterred by their accomplishments, they further pursued their academic endeavors at the same institution and received a Master's degree in economics and auditing (Cand.merc.aud.) from 1992 to 1997.
