Erik Olsson

Erik Olsson has over 30 years of experience in the financial and operational leadership of public and private companies. Erik is currently the Director at Ritchie Bros.

Erik began their career in 1988 with Atlas Copco in Sweden. Erik then moved to Brazil and held various senior financial positions before returning to Sweden in 1997. In 1998, they became the CFO of Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation (Atlas Copco).

In 2001, Erik became the CEO of RSC Equipment Rental. Erik led the turnaround and transformation of RSC’s strategy and business model, leadership philosophy and commitment to execution resulting in industry leading operating and financial performance. Established a company-wide culture based on safety, accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement through lean processes and transparency, and a relentless focus on customer service.

In 2013, Erik became the Chairman Of The Board for Mobile Mini Solutions. Erik held this position until 2020 when they took their current role as Director at Ritchie Bros.

Erik Olsson has a B.Sc. in Business and Finance from the University of Gothenburg.
