Lorne Wilson

Lorne Wilson has a strong background in welding and technical sales. Lorne has held various roles throughout their career, starting in 1994 as a Senior Welder at Northern Oil Tool. In this position, they provided welding services, including design, product installation, and quality assurance. Lorne has experience in conducting hard facing and brazing techniques in the oilfield industry.

From 2013 to 2020, Lorne worked at Hunting Energy Services Drilling Tools and WeldCor Supplies as a Welding Technology Manager and Technical Sales Specialist, respectively. In these roles, they communicated with customers, provided support and customer service, oversaw product improvements, and led the design and implementation of welding procedures.

Most recently, Lorne served as the Weld Shop Manager at Rival Downhole Tools, starting in 2018. In this position, they managed daily operations for welding products and services, including assessing and implementing new product designs, sourcing, pricing, and evaluating required equipment. Lorne also maintained inventory, searched for available products, and oversaw product and procedure improvements.

Lorne Wilson's education history begins in 1996 when they attended the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) and obtained a Journeyman Red Seal in Welding. Lorne completed their studies at NAIT in 1999. In 2004, Lorne attended Local 146 and received a B Pressure certification in Welding.
