David Bernstein

David Bernstein has a diverse work experience in project management and operations. David is currently serving as the Director of the Project Management Office at SilkRoad Technology since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Independent Consultant from 2018 to 2021, delivering consulting services and leading business transformation initiatives. Before that, they were the Director of Professional Service Operations & PMO at Sigma Solutions from 2012 to 2018, where they focused on enhancing the selling and delivery process for professional services. David also served as the Director of Operations at Laurus Technologies from 2009 to 2012, where they led all internal operations and implemented standardized business methodologies. Additionally, they worked as the Director of Services Engagement at Laurus Technologies from 2007 to 2009, where they managed teams and grew professional service revenue. David's earlier experience includes working as an Engagement Manager & Project Manager at Sun Microsystems from 2000 to 2007, where they provided customized solutions to customers and exceeded revenue targets. David started their career as the Manager of Architecture & Standards at Pactiv from 1996 to 2000, overseeing technical architecture and support groups for ERP transformation.

David Bernstein has a BA in Political Science, which they obtained from Northwestern University in 1988. David later pursued an MS in Communications Systems Strategy & Management Program, completing it from Northwestern University in 1999. In terms of certifications, they earned the Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) and Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in 2019. Additionally, they obtained the ITIL Service Operation certification from the ITIL Foundation Certification Training Level in 2004, and the Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2003.
