Lars Battle

Lars Battle is an experienced professional specializing in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) communication and thought leadership. Currently serving as an ESG Copywriter at Rivel, Inc., since November 2023, Lars has also worked as an Independent Contractor for WEConnect International and held senior positions at CAF America, overseeing thought leadership initiatives. Previous roles include Senior Editorial Coordinator at PYXERA Global, where content for the Global Engagement Forum was curated, and Director of Institutional Development at Long Way Home, where a grassroots school project was developed. Lars has a diverse background that includes consulting for Winrock International, managing public relations for Grupo Ecologico Sierra Gorda under UNDP, and serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Educational qualifications include a BA in Economics from Carleton College and a master's degree in Natural Resources from Virginia Tech.
