Justin Cilia

Justin Cilia has over 8 years of work experience in the IT industry. Justin began their career in 2013 as a Network Technician for the Malta Communications Authority. Justin then worked as an IT Support for Smart Technologies Limited, where they were responsible for supporting and troubleshooting hardware and software, as well as installation and imaging of Windows. In 2014, they moved to ASPIDER-NGI, where they worked as a Network Management Systems Engineer and NOC Engineer. In 2018, they joined Vodafone as a SYSOPS Engineer and System Engineer. In 2020, they began working at Videoslots as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer and Site Reliability Engineer, where they were responsible for ensuring high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical computer resources, developing procedures to maintain security and protect systems from unauthorized use, developing procedures, programs and documentation for backup and restoration of host operating systems and host-based applications, and developing and maintaining adequate system monitoring and alerting to maximize benefits and minimize impacts on the end user experience. Currently, Justin Cilia is employed as a DevOps Engineer at River Tech plc.

Justin Cilia's education history includes an Associate's Degree from STC Malta in Computing from 2015 to 2017, a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Computing and Systems Development from MCAST from 2013 to 2015, A'levels in Computing and Maths from G.F Abela Junior College from 2009 to 2012, and a Certificate in Cisco IT Essentials I from STC Malta in 2009.
