Bo Gong

Bo Gong is a Senior Research Scientist at Riverain Technologies, specializing in medical imaging since January 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Deep Learning Researcher at BRAINOMIX from July 2019 to September 2022, where core algorithms for fully automatic lesion segmentation and characterization were developed. Earlier roles include (Senior) Research Scientist at ITeM, Furtwangen University, and the Institute of Clinical Radiology at the University of Munich, focusing on machine-learning algorithms to enhance medical imaging accuracy. Additional research experience includes algorithm design at the Institute of Manufacturing Metrology and scientific programming at the Institute for Physiology and Pathophysiology at the University Erlangen-Nuremberg. Bo Gong holds a Ph.D. in Medical Imaging from the University of Munich, a Master of Science in Mathematics and Physics from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Technische Universität Darmstadt, and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in Clinical Medicine from Hebei Medical University.
