Ava Moussavi is an Associate Civil Engineer at Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District since May 2017, specializing in modeling Low Impact Development and hydrologic effects for OC Public Works. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Irvine, where projects involved nitrogen isotopes for biofilter systems. Ava's academic background comprises a Master's degree in Engineering with a concentration in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering, both from UC Irvine. Additional experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Researcher, counselor at an engineering camp, and intern at H20 Applied Technologies and MIT, focusing on water conservation and desalination research.
