Sr Director Of Operations at Riverside Insights

Jim Stendler has extensive work experience in operations, supply chain management, production control, and planning. Jim is currently the Director of Operations at Riverside Insights, a position they have held since January 2023. Previously, they worked as the Director of Supply Chain and Scoring Services at Riverside Insights from October 2021 to December 2022. Prior to that, Jim was the Supply Chain Manager at Riverside Insights from May 2019 to October 2021.

Before joining Riverside Insights, Jim worked at Metal Impact LLC as the Purchasing, Production Control & Inventory Manager from July 2016 to March 2019. In this role, they directed all supply chain and manufacturing planning activities, implemented cost-saving initiatives, and improved planning optimization.

From January 2014 to May 2016, Jim worked at Mathews Company (M-C) as the Production Control Manager. Their responsibilities included streamlining production workflow, managing inventory, and establishing production schedules and forecasting methods. Jim improved factory flow and reduced waste.

From April 2010 to January 2014, Jim was the Master Scheduler at FHP. In this role, they coordinated manufacturing capacities, schedules, and demand for major retail clients and global partners. Jim provided monthly estimated production figures and targeted manufacturing output to align with management expectations.

Jim also has experience as a Master Scheduler at Dresser Waukesha Engine from February 2007 to April 2009, where they managed MRP forecasting, scheduling, and customer delivery. Jim acted as a liaison between manufacturing, customer service, and marketing.

Earlier in their career, Jim worked as a Production Control Analyst at Rockwell Automation from October 2003 to November 2006. In this role, they managed material needs, inventory, and delivery for multiple production lines. Jim implemented methods to manage demand variation and achieved cost savings through a redesigned production lot size program.

Jim's career began at Jacobsen Textron as a Parts Planning Analyst from May 1997 to August 2000. Jim was responsible for forecasting and managing spare parts inventory, as well as leading a Kaizen project to improve workflow.

Jim Stendler attended Greendale High School from 1988 to 1992. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Distribution and Marketing from Wisconsin School of Business, which they attended from 1992 to 1996. Later, they furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Operations and Manufacturing from Purdue University Daniels School of Business, attending from 2000 to 2002.
