Alan Wade

Alan Wade has worked in various roles since 1980. Alan began their career as an Apprentice Toolmaker at W. J. Parry Limited, where they trained in the use of all the Toolroom machinery, the understanding of different materials in conjunction with various applications for press tools, jigs and fixtures. Alan also had allocated training time in the Quality Control Department, the Design Department, the Press Shop for Press Tools and Progression Tools and the Maintenance and Development Departments as part of their Apprenticeship. In 1985, Alan Wade moved to Atlas Engineering Limited, where they worked as a Toolmaker/R&D Engineer, doing R&D for Rolls Royce Nuclear, Qualcast, Pennine Healthcare, Riverside Medical Packaging, L. K. International and Rolls Royce. In 1990, Alan Wade began working at Riverside Medical Packaging Company Limited as the Works and Engineering Director. In this role, they designed and managed cleanrooms for customer specific products and/or processes and oversaw the Design Department, the Engineering Manufacturing Toolroom and a Development Department which supported Riverside plus sub-contract projects. Additionally, they oversaw the Health and Safety Committee and the Fire Evacuation Committee. In 2015, Alan Wade began working at Shawpak as the Director of Operations.

Alan Wade attended Long Eaton School from 1975 to 1980, and Derby College at an unspecified time. Additionally, they obtained the certification of Managing Safely from The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health in October 2009.
