Charlie McNamara

As Director of Advancement Charlie oversees Riverview’s Advancement Office and Alumni Office, and works with the Development Committee to set and manage the fundraising strategy. Previously Charlie worked at Riverview School from 1993-2010 as a dormitory coordinator, Director of Residential Services at GROW, Associate Director of Development and then Director of Development. In 2010 he left Riverview to work for Big Brothers Big Sisters in Boston and Bottom Line in Jamaica Plain, two organizations focused on mentoring under-resourced populations. In 2017 Charlie happily returned to Riverview. He earned his BS in Psychology from Curry College. Charlie lives in Marshfield with his wife Kirsten and their four children Charlie, Kelsey, Annalise and Graham. He loves to read, swim and spend time on the beach with his family. He also enjoys coaching soccer and basketball, and playing golf.
