Brent Kane

Brent Kane currently serves as a Senior Learning and Development Specialist at Rivian since May 2021, after previously holding the position of Learning and Development Specialist. In addition, Brent has been an Instructional Assistant Professor at Illinois State University since May 2011, instructing a classroom of 38 College of Business students each term and developing educational materials to enhance learning outcomes. Brent's experience includes multiple roles at Illinois State University, such as Academic Advisor for undergraduate and graduate students, providing guidance on academic policies and career counseling, and Pre-Professional Academic Advisor, assisting students in applying for health professions programs. Early career experience includes customer service roles at Massachusetts General Hospital, focusing on patient assistance and relationship building. Brent holds a Graduate Certificate in Training and Development, along with a Master of Science in College Student Personnel Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications, Human Resource Management, and Organizational Leadership from Illinois State University.
