Hyun Yoo

Hyun Yoo is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in industrial design and management. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of Industrial Design at Rivian since January 2022, Hyun Yoo focuses on advancing sustainable transportation. Prior to Rivian, Hyun Yoo worked at Steelcase from December 2006 to December 2021, holding various roles including Design Manager and Principal Industrial Designer, leading initiatives in the Worktools category and contributing to the design of the Steelcase Innovation and Learning Center in Munich. Hyun Yoo's academic background includes an MFA in Furniture Design from the Rhode Island School of Design, a BA in Art and East Asian Humanities from UCLA, and an AA in Occupational Studies from the Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding.
