Matt Santos

Matt Santos is a highly skilled automation engineer with extensive experience in both hardware and software engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Automation Engineer at Rivian since October 2020, Matt previously held the role of 5G Modem Firmware Engineer at Qualcomm, where contributions included significant projects in bootloader software and complex hardware-software interactions. Matt's leadership skills were demonstrated as Electronics and Software Lead for the "Colossus SFS" project at SEDS UCSD, supported by NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center. Prior roles include internships at Qualcomm and Tesla, focusing on bootloader development and industrial electrical panel design, respectively. Matt earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from UC San Diego in 2019.
