Minjeong Kim

Minjeong Kim is a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Michigan, expected to graduate in May 2025 with a concentration in Energy and a minor in Multidisciplinary Design. Minjeong's professional experience includes an internship as a Vehicle Safety Test Engineering Intern at Rivian since May 2025, a New Glenn Fluids Controls Intern at Blue Origin from January 2024 to April 2024, and a role as Aerodynamics R&D Engineer at General Motors within the Multidisciplinary Design Program from January 2023 to December 2023. Additional experience includes serving as a Meshing Software Validation Intern at Ansys in the summer of 2023 and notable contributions to the University of Michigan Solar Car Team in various capacities from September 2021 to February 2023, including Aerodynamics Engineer and Lead Race Aerodynamics Engineer. Minjeong achieved a Core 40 with Academic Honors diploma and AP Capstone diploma at Carmel High School, completing studies there from August 2016 to May 2020.
