Karla Guerra (She/They)

Karla (Guerra) Yang is a seasoned executive recruiter and talent acquisition specialist with a focus on AI/Research. Currently serving as a Principal at Riviera Partners since March 2024, Karla plays a pivotal role in connecting executive talent with leading companies in innovative sectors. Previously, Karla was a Senior Associate at Erevena, concentrating on engineering and product executive search for high-growth companies, and honed recruitment skills as an Associate there. Karla's earlier experience building and helping lead the Computer Vision & AI practice at Harnham, working with top AI startups and advanced tech groups within public/scaled companies. Karla's background also includes work as a Software Engineer at Uber. Academically, Karla holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Media Studies and Computer Science from Scripps College and Harvey Mudd College, respectively.
