Burton R. Ross

For more than 40 years, Burton Ross has practiced in the field of landlord-tenant law. He has represented hundreds of commercial owners, developers and tenants in litigation and transactional matters.

Burton has represented clients in courts throughout New York City as well as courts in Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester counties. He represents landlords in the Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He has tried hundreds of non-jury and jury trials, as well as represented parties in arbitrations, appraisal proceedings and mediations. He has prepared and argued numerous appeals in the Appellate Divisions of the Supreme Court of the State of New York for both the First and Second Departments, and prepared and argued Bankruptcy Court appeals before the United States District Court.
