Jim Casteel

Jim Casteel began their work experience in 1995 as a Student in the Information Systems Office IT support at Kansas State University. Jim then worked as a Design Engineer at Rockwell Collins from 1998 to 2001. Following that, they were a Senior Design Consultant at Synopsys, Inc. from 2001 to 2006. In 2006, they worked as a Validation Engineer at Stexar for a brief period of time before joining Intel as a Senior Staff ASIC Design Engineer, where they stayed until 2020. From 2020 to 2022, they worked at Ampere as a Senior Principal Engineer. Currently, they are employed at Rivos Inc. as a Principal Engineer.

Jim Casteel attended Kansas State University from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering.
