Muhammad Imran Ahmed has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. Muhammad Imran started their career at MCB Bank Limited in 1999 as a Chief Manager for Branch Banking and Sales Network. Muhammad Imran then moved on to become an Assistant Vice President and Assistant Head of Assets Operations and Technology, where they implemented processes and controls for consumer finance products. Later, they were promoted to Vice President and Head of Assets Operations and Technology, overseeing the successful implementation of fully integrated systems and automation, resulting in significant time and cost savings for the bank.

In 2008, Ahmed joined Bank Albilad as the Head of Process Reengineering, where they prepared and redesigned processes and workflows in compliance with regulations. Subsequently, they took on the role of Retail Credit Operations Head, focusing on improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction through the implementation of policies and procedures.

Ahmed then joined National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) in 2010 as a Manager of Retail Banking, where they successfully implemented various banking products and played an integral role in establishing the Risk department from scratch. Muhammad Imran later became the Head of Credit Risk at NBP, representing the bank in dealings with local authorities and securing approvals for credit policies and procedures.

Currently, Ahmed works at Riyad Bank as the Head of Product Development for MSME and Business Banking, where they have developed a strategic roadmap for the MSME sector and spearheaded the launch of digital banking products tailored for this sector. Muhammad Imran has also led digital transformation initiatives, integrating advanced technologies to enhance operations and improve the customer experience. In addition, Ahmed has been responsible for managing credit risk and formulating risk acceptance criteria at Riyad Bank.

Throughout their career, Muhammad Imran Ahmed has consistently demonstrated strong leadership abilities, strategic thinking, and a focus on innovation and efficiency in banking operations.

Muhammad Imran Ahmed completed their education at the University of the Punjab. Muhammad Imran earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree with a focus on Commerce from 1996 to 1998. Muhammad Imran then pursued further studies at the same university, obtaining a Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree in Marketing from 1998 to 2000.
