Vann Stephenson Pe

Vann Stephenson, PE has extensive experience in civil infrastructure and project management. Vann is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Civil Infrastructure at RIZZO International, Inc., where they oversee the development and execution of large civil infrastructure projects, including power plant siting, civil engineering, construction, project management, and green energy technology projects.

Prior to their current role, Vann worked as a consultant in major project and engineering management. Vann provided expertise in project management, engineering, and construction management of large generation projects, including combined cycles, renewables, and transmission. Vann also offered services in organizational development, project effectiveness reviews, contract management, and health, safety, and environmental project plans.

Before their consulting career, Vann held various managerial positions at Duke Energy Corporation. As the General Manager of Major Projects, they led contract and field execution for major capital generation projects and managed multidisciplinary project management teams. In addition, Vann served as the General Manager of Engineering and Construction Services, where they oversaw functional engineering and construction oversight, self-commissioning, and adherence to conduct of operation guidelines.

Earlier in their career, Vann worked at Progress Energy, where they held leadership roles in engineering and project management. Vann led the Major Projects Engineering Organization, supporting a diverse portfolio of new generation projects. Vann also managed the engineering and construction management for new nuclear plant designs, licensing applications, and infrastructure development. Prior to that, they guided the corporate mechanical/civil nuclear engineering section and implemented engineering programs and processes for Progress Energy's nuclear plants.

Vann Stephenson, PE holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. Later in 2000, they received the Senior Reactor Operator Management Certification from Shearon Harris Nuclear Station.
