Alan Picklesimer

Alan Picklesimer has extensive experience in the printing industry, with a focus on large format and digital printing. Alan has held various roles in different companies throughout their career.

Starting in 1992, Picklesimer worked as a Prepress Manager at Mid Ohio Graphics until 1996. Alan then moved on to Byrum Printing, where they worked in prepress for a year.

In 1996, Picklesimer joined Marketing Services by Vectra as a Prepress and Digital Lead Operator. Alan stayed with the company for over 14 years, overseeing a team of 18+ employees, operating various digital output devices, analyzing budget vs actual job costs, and maintaining scheduling of all digital work.

In 2010, Picklesimer joined ABC Imaging as an Assistant Prepress Manager/Digital Lead. Their responsibilities included training and operating various digital output devices, troubleshooting files and repairing equipment, providing training and support to employees, and researching and purchasing equipment.

From 2011 to 2013, Picklesimer worked as a Graphics/Prepress Supervisor at Metro Media Technologies. Then, from 2013 to 2016, they served as a Wide Format Manager at Capitol Citicom, Inc.

From 2016 to 2017, Picklesimer worked as a Production Manager at Creative Palatte Inc. Alan then joined Custom Sign Center, Inc. in 2017 as a Digital Prepress/Print Manager.

From 2018 to 2022, Picklesimer worked at Millcraft as a Large Format Equipment Specialist. In this role, they were responsible for creating a demo center for a new line of printers, plotters, cutters, and laminators. Alan also installed and trained customers on the equipment and supported the sales team.

Currently, in 2022, Picklesimer is working at RJ Young as a Wide Format Systems Analyst.

Alan Picklesimer attended Westland High from 1978 to 1982 but did not receive a degree or pursue a specific field of study. From 1980 to 1982, they attended Paul C Hayes Technical, where they pursued a degree in Printing with a focus on Graphics Communications.
