Michael Smith

Michael Smith began their work experience as a Peace Corps Volunteer in 2014 and served until 2015. In 2018, they became a TESOL Teacher at Whales English, a position they held until 2020. During that time, from 2020 to 2021, they also worked as a Field Organizing for Organizing Together 2020. In 2020, they joined For Our Future as a Canvass Coordinator, but left in the same year. In 2021, they became a Sales Account Manager at RJ Young. Currently, as of June 2022, they are a Teacher at the School Board of Alachua County.

Michael Smith completed their Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Florida from 2011 to 2013. Michael later pursued a Master's degree in Political Science and Government from Florida State University, which they completed from 2019 to 2020.
