Richard Day currently serves as the Marketing Channels & Engagement Director at Royal London since February 2025. Prior to this role, Richard held various leadership positions at HSBC from January 2019 to December 2024, including Global Microsoft Dynamics Programme Lead and Global Head of CRM & Messaging Operations, focusing on data-driven CRM strategies. Richard also served as Global Head of Customer & Business Banking Analytics at HSBC. Earlier in his career at RSA from April 2009 to June 2014, Richard was Customer Director for Emerging Markets and Group Head of Insight and Segmentation, managing customer and market research initiatives. At Prudential from January 2005 to April 2009, Richard was Head of Customer Strategy, Insight, and Database Marketing, overseeing the UK’s insight function, and previously directed Customer Strategy for Asia, leading multiple regional businesses. Richard holds an MSc in Project Appraisal Finance and Investment from the University of York and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Staffordshire.
