Julian Anderson

Julian Anderson is President and a founding shareholder of the company’s North American region where he is responsible for overall management of the practice.

Julian is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, construction project management advisor, construction cost estimator, lean construction consultant, project procurement consultant, and building life advisor. Julian holds general contractor’s licences in Arizona and Nevada. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Quantity Surveyors, Fellow of the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering, Fellow of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors and a Certified Cost Professional. With 40 years of professional practice, all at RLB, Julian’s experience encompasses everything from small projects to complex projects valued at several billion dollars. He has also served as an expert witness in numerous construction-related disputes.

Julian has spoken often to industry organizations including the Associated General Contractors and Lorman Education Services. He has frequently been quoted in industry publications such as Engineering News-Record, and has written articles for Arizona Commercial Real Estate Magazine, Denver Daily Journal, and Design Intelligence among others.

He obtained his tertiary qualifications in quantity surveying from the Queensland Institute of Technology.
