Bob Nephew founded RM Nephew and Associates LLC with more than 35 years executive search experience. He has built his career within the technology, professional services and healthcare industries. Areas of expertise include human resources, board of directors and financial officer disciplines. Through his extensive work in these areas, Bob has refined techniques for placing senior leaders who serve as trusted advisors to the CEO on a range of strategic business matters. Bob’s clients value the insights he brings from recruiting success within their niche sectors and functional areas, as well as his work on both the provider and client side of the business.

Before launching RM Nephew and Associates LLC, Bob was managing partner and global practice leader for technology, professional services and healthcare at David Brooke Associates. Prior to that, he was with Korn/Ferry International as technology partner in the Boston office, where he was national account manager for Accenture. During that time, Bob also focused on board and C-suite level positions for private equity and venture-funded companies in the software, hardware and telecom industries.

Bob gained over a decade of experience with Christian & Timbers, where he was managing partner of the Boston office and global account manager for IBM. Previous roles included vice president of executive recruiting at Olsten Kimberly Quality Care (home healthcare services), vice president of human resources at CSC Partners (systems integration), and recruiter for Digital Equipment Corporation.

Bob received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Villanova University. He has been a charter member of the Indus Entrepreneurs of Massachusetts, he was co-founder and past chairman of Open Arms, a refugee resettlement organization, and The Community Supper, a provider of hot meals to the needy. He has also served on the board of trustees for the Archdiocesan High Schools of Boston. Bob’s most recent philanthropic involvement includes serving on the Massachusetts Leadership Council of Youth Villages, a results-oriented nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the performance of our foster care system.
