Kathryn Amador

Kathryn Amador is an experienced research assistant at Armache Lab, focusing on the structural and mechanistic studies of ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling complexes related to DNA-damage repair and human disease mutations. Concurrently, Kathryn serves as a clinical medical assistant at Reproductive Medicine Associates, where responsibilities include patient interaction and vital sign documentation. Previous roles include pharmacy technician at CVS Pharmacy and facility attendant at Penn State University. Kathryn also gained valuable experience shadowing Dr. Silvia Fresco at Hackensack Meridian Health. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Bioethics/Medical Ethics from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and a Bachelor’s degree in Premedicine and related fields from Penn State University.
