Emily Stites has over 12 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Emily began their career in 2007 as an Engineer at Amgen, where they collaborated on process characterization, process validation, process monitoring, and global marketing application for first-in-class oncolytic immunotherapy. Emily also served on a global strategy team for In-Process Controls and Process Monitoring quality systems. In 2016, Emily moved to Cook Biotech as a Senior Core Products Engineer, providing process engineering and continuous improvement support for medical devices manufactured from porcine small intestinal submucosa (SIS). Emily also managed and advised interns and co-ops. In 2018, Emily joined Cambrex as a Senior Process Validation Manager, providing process validation and technology transfer support for a small molecule, contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) across two manufacturing sites. Cambrex acquired Avista Pharma Solutions in January 2019. Most recently, Emily has been a Senior Consultant at RMC Pharmaceutical Solutions since 2019.
Emily Stites has a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Purdue University, which they earned between 2005 and 2007. Emily also has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Colorado State University, which they earned between 2001 and 2005.
