Arun Vishwanathan

Arun Vishwanathan has a long and diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Arun'smost recent role was as Vice President of Business Development for the telecommunications vertical at RMSI. In this role, they focused on establishing a North American beachhead and increasing revenue by leveraging contacts with Tier 1 telecom companies.

Prior to their role at RMSI, Arun worked as the Vice President of Global Sales (Telco) at Newt Global Consulting, where they gained extensive experience in cloud technologies and DevOps. Arun successfully built and developed a salesforce to grow key accounts worldwide and enhanced revenue by initiating lead-hunting activities.

Before joining Newt Global Consulting, Arun served as the AT&T Global Sales Partner at Wipro Limited. Arun was responsible for managing new business development, accounts, delivery, and operations. Arun achieved significant achievements, including closing a $50M BPO deal with AT&T and attaining "preferred vendor" status with the company.

Earlier in their career, Arun held various positions at Ericsson, including Director of Services Sales, Senior Account Manager, Senior Solutions Manager, Program Manager, Manager of Advanced Technologies, Senior Project Lead, Team Leader, and RF Engineer. These roles involved responsibilities such as building revenue streams, guiding teams, overseeing operations, and fostering relationships with clients and vendors.

Arun also gained corporate marketing experience at HCL Infosystems Ltd. in the early years of their career.

Arun Vishwanathan obtained a B.S in Electrical Engineering from PSG College of Technology from 1987 to 1992. Arun then pursued an M.S in Electrical Engineering at The University of Texas at Dallas from 1993 to 1995. Following that, they completed an M.S in Management and Administrative Sciences from The University of Texas at Dallas from 1998 to 2002. Lastly, Arun obtained an M.A in International Management Studies from The University of Texas at Dallas from 2005 to 2007.
