Mykhaylo Filipenko

Mykhaylo Filipenko has been working in various roles since 2012. In 2012, they were a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, where they ran experiments at CERN, DESY and Fermilab, did big data analysis with computer vision algorithms, and applied neural networks to pattern recognition of experimental data. In 2015, they became Head of Center of Competence "Electric Machines High Power" and Projektmanager at Siemens, helping to secure 20M€ in public funding and leading a team of engineers to build a superconducting 10 MW airborne electric machine. In 2017, they were CTO at Romy. In 2019, they became Director Center of Competence Electric Machines High Power at Rolls-Royce. In 2020, they became CEO & Co-Founder at roadIA GmbH, Business Consultant at TacoVeg, and dedicated himself to Acrobatics, Yoga & Meditation at Carampa Circus School. In 2021, they became Entrepreneur in Residence and Mentor at REAKTOR.BERLIN, and Community Member & Mentor at 2hearts.

Mykhaylo Filipenko studied Physik at the University of Regensburg from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Master of Science - MS. Mykhaylo then went on to pursue a Promotion at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg from 2012 to 2015.
