Laurie Myers Sphr

Laurie Myers, SPHR, SHRM-CP, has extensive experience in human resources, with a focus on various areas such as benefits administration, onboarding, offboarding, communication, and organizational effectiveness. Laurie most recently worked as a Human Resources Business Partner at RoadSafe Traffic Systems. Prior to that, they were a Human Resources Generalist at ZimVie, where they supported over 1300 team members in the dental and spine divisions. Laurie also served as a Human Resources Generalist at Zimmer Biomet for five years. Before that, they were the Human Resources Manager at Braman Motorcars, where they were responsible for all aspects of HR and was a member of the executive team. Laurie also worked as a Senior Human Resources Generalist at CareerSource Palm Beach County and a Human Resources Consultant for various clients. Laurie began their career as a Human Relations Generalist at Sysco Southeast Florida and also served as a Human Resources Administrative Assistant at Sysco South Florida. Their skills include organizational effectiveness, HR transformation, and process improvement.

Laurie Myers, SPHR, SHRM-CP, has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Education from Florida State University. Laurie also holds a Human Resource Administration Certification from Florida International University, which they obtained in 1996. Laurie graduated from Hollywood Hills High School with a high school diploma in General Studies.

In 2015, Laurie obtained the Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) and the Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM. Additionally, they became a Florida Public Notary in 1990, certified by the Notary Public for the State of Florida.
