Roal Oy
Marja Paloheimo is an accomplished Principal Scientist currently with AB Enzymes Finland Oy since September 2024 and Roal Oy since March 2017. With a career at ROAL OY in Rajamäki, Finland, that began in 2001, Marja has also held the position of Senior Research Scientist. Marja holds a Master's degree in Microbiology from the University of Helsinki, completed between 1979 and 1985, underscoring a strong foundation in the field of microbiological research.

Roal Oy is one of the world´s largest enzyme companies. Our R&D and manufacturing facilities are located in Rajamäki, 50 km north of Finland´s capital Helsinki. We produce enzymes for different industrial applications, e.g. baking, food, technical and feed industries. Our core competence areas are Trichoderma, Aspergillus and Bacillus -fermentations.
