Christian Johansen is a science teacher at Roanoke County Schools, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Christian served as a meteorologist at WDBJ7 from April 2017 to July 2023 and was the chief meteorologist at NPG Cable from May 2012 to April 2017. Earlier experience includes working as a Student Assistant III at the National Center for Atmospheric Research from January 2009 to August 2010 and as a production assistant at Intermountain West Communications Company from December 2004 to July 2007. Christian has a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Metropolitan State University of Denver, earned between 2007 and 2010.
