Dennis Gies

Dennis Gies is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in private equity and board governance. Currently serving as Managing Director at Roark Capital since April 2022, Gies previously held the position of Board Member at mytheresa.com from August 2020 to October 2022. Gies spent 15 years at Ares Management Corporation as Partner and Head of Consumer Private Equity from August 2006 to July 2021. Additionally, Gies has contributed as a board member for several companies, including 99 Cents Only Stores, DevaCurl, and Smart & Final.
