Danae Motta has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Danae started their career at the Department of Territory as a Summer Intern in 2014. Danae later worked as a Summer Camp Assistant at Federazione Ticinese Famiglie Diurne from 2012 to 2015. In 2017, Danae worked as a Digital Media & Communications Associate at SciencePOD, before joining the Environmental Department of Canton Ticino as an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Intern from October 2017 to January 2018. Danae then moved on to MPower Ventures AG, where they held the roles of Junior Associate from February to July 2018, and Business Development from August 2018 to February 2020. Since March 2020, Danae has been working at Robeco as a Sustainability Investing Climate Researcher, conducting research on Scope 3 data quality across different data providers and supporting industry research in the Industrial cluster. Additionally, they have also taken on the role of Sustainability Investing Research Analyst at Robeco, specializing in Consumer Discretionary and Biodiversity, and co-leading company engagements on responsible sourcing, sustainable supply chains, human rights, and circular practices. Danae has made significant contributions to Robeco, including co-authoring the white paper "Future of Fashion".
Danae Motta has a Master's Degree in Climate Sciences from the University of Bern, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Geosciences and Environment from the University of Lausanne - UNIL from 2011 to 2014. Danae also attended High School Mendrisio from 2007 to 2011, where they received a High School diploma with a focus on Foreign Languages and Literatures, General. Danae Motta additionally holds certifications including a Master of Science from the Oeschger Centre for Climate Change Research, University of Bern (obtained in 2016) and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Lausanne (obtained in 2011).
