Giacomo Fumagalli

Director - Portfolio Manager at Robeco

Giacomo Fumagalli has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Giacomo started their career at Credit Suisse as an intern in asset management from July 2012 to September 2013. Giacomo then became a portfolio manager and equity analyst at Credit Suisse from October 2013 to August 2015.

In 2015, Giacomo joined Lemanik SA as a portfolio manager and equity analyst, where they covered large, medium, and small cap stocks across various sectors. During their time at Lemanik, they managed two funds focused on Italian stocks, namely the Lemanik High Growth long-only fund and the Lemanik Italy flexible fund. Giacomo worked at Lemanik SA until March 2019.

Since April 2019, Giacomo has been working at Robeco as an equity analyst, where they started as an analyst and then progressed to a senior equity analyst position from August 2021 to March 2023. Currently, they hold the role of a portfolio manager at Robeco.

Giacomo Fumagalli has a comprehensive education history, which includes three degrees. From 2010 to 2012, they attended Università Bocconi and obtained an MSc in Finance. In the same period, they also pursued an MSc in Accounting and Control at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Prior to this, from 2007 to 2010, Giacomo studied at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, where they obtained a degree in Economia delle Imprese e dei Mercati.

Additionally, Giacomo Fumagalli earned the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in 2016.
