Koos Burema

Koos Burema started their work experience in 2005 with a summer internship at ABN AMRO. Koos then moved on to work as a Webmanager at IEX Media Groep from January 2001 to August 2007. In September 2007, they joined Robeco as a Junior Portfolio Manager and worked in that role until December 2010. Following that, Koos worked as an Analyst at Robeco's Global Emerging Markets Fund from January 2010 to February 2020, specializing in South Korea and Technology companies in Mainland China and Taiwan. Currently, they serve as a Portfolio Manager for Robeco FinTech and Robeco New World Financials, managing funds with assets exceeding EUR 1.5 billion.

Koos Burema obtained their MSc degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from the University of Groningen, where they attended between 2001 and 2007. Furthermore, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder certification from the CFA Institute in September 2011.
