Martin van Vliet

Director, Global Macro Fixed Income & Sustainability at Robeco

Martin van Vliet has extensive work experience in the finance and economics industry. Martin is currently employed at Robeco as the Director of the Global Macro Fixed Income Team. Prior to this, they worked at ING for 14 years, where they held the positions of Senior Interest Rate Strategist and Senior Economist. Before joining ING, Martin worked at NIBC Bank as an Economist and later as an Associate in Corporate Finance. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Consultant at Van Den Boom Groep Corporate Finance and as an Intern at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Martin van Vliet's education history begins in 1994 when they attended Erasmus University Rotterdam. Martin pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics and completed their studies in 1999. In 1998, they briefly studied Financial Economics at Stockholm University.

In 2004, Martin attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for a course in Advanced Macroeconomics.
