Nico Becx Frm

Nico Becx, FRM has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Nico began their career at Robeco Direct in 2006, where they worked as a Sales Agent and later as a Junior Portfolio Advisor. In 2008, they transitioned to various companies, taking on the role of Researcher/Consultant until 2011.

In 2012, Becx joined Roland Berger as a temporary Researcher, conducting projects for the World Wildlife Fund and the Rijksmuseum. That same year, they also started working at Achmea Investment Management as a Financial Trainee, gaining experience in Financial Risk Management, Fixed Income, Investment Strategy, and Client Portfolio Management.

In 2016, Becx returned to Robeco and took on the role of Financial Risk Manager. Nico progressively advanced within the company, becoming a Senior Financial Risk Manager in 2018, then Director of Financial Risk Manager in 2021, and finally, Director of Team Lead Financial Risk Oversight and Manager Financial Risk Oversight in 2022.

Additionally, in 2020, Becx took on a role at Stichting Pensioenfonds Robeco as a Member of the Accountability Committee.

Becx's experience showcases their expertise in financial risk management and their ability to take on leadership roles, making him a valuable asset in any organization.

Nico Becx, FRM, has completed a comprehensive education history. Starting in 1998 and ending in 2004, they attended Jacob Roelandslyceum, where they studied Economics and obtained their High School degree. Following this, from 2004 to 2010, Nico attended Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Administration. During this time, they specialized in Finance & Investments, deepening their knowledge in this field. In 2009, Nico pursued further education and enrolled in Universitas Gadjah Mada, completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in the field of Master of Management. Finally, from 2009 to 2011, they returned to Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Finance & Investments.

In addition to their extensive educational background, Nico Becx has obtained the Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) certification. This certification was conferred by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) in July 2016.
