Rafael Migani Monteiro

Rafael Migani Monteiro, CFA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Rafael most recently worked at Robeco as a Sr. Financial Risk Manager - Sustainability Risk. Prior to that, they were a Consultant - Climate & ESG Solutions at Ortec Finance, where they provided climate risk assessment and integration of climate and ESG factors into risk and portfolio management processes. Rafael also worked as an RFP Writer and Transaction Processing Officer at NN Investment Partners. Rafael gained consulting experience at IPC - Internationale Projekt Consult GmbH, where they conducted analysis of the Tanzanian Credit Market and managed innovative debt finance schemes. Earlier in their career, they worked at J.P. Morgan as a Global Investments Analyst and Trading Desk Support Analyst. Rafael also has experience as a Fund of Funds Analyst at Banco Fator and as a Relationship Manager Intern at Itau Unibanco Banco Commercial. Rafael began their career in the Brazilian Army as a 2nd lieutenant.

Rafael Migani Monteiro, CFA pursued their education in a chronological manner. Rafael first attended the Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie from 2004 to 2010, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Following this, they enrolled at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas for the year 2011-2012, obtaining a Master's degree in Financial Economics. Later on, from 2018 to 2020, they attended the University of Amsterdam, earning a Master of Science in International Finance (MIF) with a specialization in Finance and Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Rafael has also obtained several certifications. In August 2019, they successfully passed the CFA Level 3 examination offered by the CFA Institute. Moreover, they have completed courses such as "The Age of Sustainable Development" from Columbia University offered on Coursera, obtained in July 2022, and "Driving business towards the Sustainable Development Goals" from Erasmus University Rotterdam, obtained in February 2022.
