Sebastian Schneider

Sebastian Schneider, CFA has worked as a Quantitative Researcher at Robeco since May 2019. Prior to that, they were a Quantitative Analyst Intern at ING from September 2018 to March 2019 and a Teaching Assistant for Stochastic Processes for Finance at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from September 2018 to November 2018. Sebastian also had a brief internship as a Quantitative Analyst at Probability & Partners in June 2018. Before entering the finance industry, they served as an Alternative Civilian Servant at Caritas Steiermark from October 2013 to June 2014.

Sebastian Schneider, CFA, has a strong educational background in finance and economics. In 2017, they started studying at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), where they pursued a Master of Science in Finance. As part of their studies, Sebastian was enrolled in the prestigious Duisenberg Honours Programme in Quantitative Risk Management. Sebastian successfully completed their master's degree in 2019.

Prior to their master's studies, Sebastian attended Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz from 2014 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.

In addition to their academic achievements, Sebastian has also obtained several certifications. In 2019, they completed a course on Machine Learning offered by Coursera. Furthermore, Sebastian is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) Charterholder, having earned this esteemed credential from the CFA Institute in April 2023.
