Sophie Janssen

Sophie Janssen has extensive work experience in the financial sector. Sophie currently serves as a Senior Compliance Officer at Robeco, a position they have held since May 2020. Prior to joining Robeco, Sophie worked at Autoriteit Financiële Markten (AFM) for over a decade. Sophie held various roles at AFM, including Manager of the Legal Department from November 2016 to May 2020, Senior Legal Counsel from January 2014 to November 2016, and Jurist from November 2008 to December 2013. Sophie also worked as a Medewerker Toezicht Informatieverstrekking at AFM from December 2006 to October 2008. In addition, they have experience as a Lid Verantwoordingsorgaan at Pensioenfonds AFM from January 2014 to May 2020. Sophie began their career at Rabobank Nederland in Eindhoven as a Medewerker Bijzonder beheer from December 2003 to November 2006.

Sophie Janssen completed their postgraduate programme in Financial Law at the Grotius Academy, Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen in 2009. Prior to that, they obtained their Master's degree in Law from Tilburg University between 1998 and 2003.
