Tim Vellinga

Tim Vellinga has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tim is currently a Junior Financial Risk Manager Reporting at Robeco, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Risk Advisory Intern at NN Investment Partners from November 2021 to April 2022. From July 2019 to June 2020, Tim was a Responsible Investment Intern at Kempen Capital Management. In 2018, they worked as a Business Development Representative at TLE.market, Inc, where they conducted prospect research and outreach. Tim also had a brief internship as a Finance Intern at Chef Middle East in July 2018. Tim has experience in finance coordination as a Finance Coordinator at TEDxUniversityofKent from September 2017 to May 2018, where they managed funds and acquired sponsorships. Additionally, they worked as a Delegate of Bahrain at the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) in February 2017, conducting research and constructing position papers. Tim has also held internships at Philips Lighting in 2016 and Al Tamimi & Company in 2015.

Tim Vellinga started their education journey in 2010 at Bonaventura College, where they completed their VWO Atheneum degree in the Science Stream (Natuur & Techniek) in 2014. Following that, from 2014 to 2017, Tim attended Jumeirah Baccalaureate School (JBS) and pursued the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP). In 2017, Tim joined the University of Kent, where they completed their Bachelor of Science with Honors in Financial Economics with Econometrics with a Year in Industry in 2021. Additionally, in September 2021, Tim obtained a certification called Bloomberg Market Concepts from Bloomberg LP.
